The Medical Convoy of The International Relief Organization Saudi Arabian (IIROSA), will start conducting here later today a number of open-heart and catheterization operations in addition to attending diagnosis cases of a number of children in different Yemeni governorates. The head of the Saudi medical convoy, Dr. Jamil Abdul-Aziz al-Ata pointed out in a statement to the Yemeni news agency that the medical convoy will continue to receive 6 patients daily in the six-day period. He pointed out that this is the fourth medical convoy implemented by IIROSA under free of charge surgeries program, costing a total of SR two million. During the period of May to December 2008, IIROSA implemented three medical convoys covering 603 cases, 440 of them diagnosis cases, 46 open-heart operations and 117 catheterizations.
