Acting Governor of Riyadh region Prince Sattam bin Abdulaziz, who is acting head of the higher commission for the development of Riyadh and head of the higher committee for environmental protection in Riyadh, received today the prize of the GCC for the best environmental works awarded to the higher commission for 2007 and 2008 in the field of environmental awareness. Prince Sattam expressed happiness for awarding the prize to the higher commission for the development of Riyadh. It is worth mentioning that the prize was awarded at a ceremony organized in Muscat on 25-4-1430 AH under the patronage of Asaad bin Tariq bin Taimour, who represented Sultan Qaboos of Oman.
