The World Assembly of Muslim Youth (WAMY) sponsored Ophthalmology Camp in Senegal has concluded its activities recently after it facilitated conducting of 320 surgeries for successful cataract removal. Dr. Majid Majeed, The head of WAMY's Medical Committee in Jeddah said the 7-day camp in Touba was conducted by physicians who volunteered their time and efforts in the service of brother-Muslims. Meanwhile, Dr Majeed said the next Ophthalmology Camp will be held in Nigeria as part of WAMY's efforts to combat blindness in Africa.
