Organization of the Islamic Conference (OIC) stressed the importance of international cooperation for achieving success in the fight against crime. In a speech before the Conference of heads of law enforcement bodies of the OIC Member States, the OIC's Assistant Secretary General for Political Affairs Izzat Mufti, underscored the need for domestic integrated legislations, effective justice and international agreements which could be able to help countries to dismantle criminal and terrorist groups. A number of important issues such as mechanisms and means of fighting the international terrorism, trafficking of humans, drugs and unlawful immigrations were discussed by the conference which concluded its activities today in the Azerbaijani capital of Baku.
