The Director of the Arab League's Human Rights Department, Mahmoud Rashid Ghalib, valued the ratification of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia of the Arab Human Rights Charter, which was approved by the Council of the Arab League at the summit level held in Tunisia in 2004, at its 24th session. In a statement today, Ghalib said that the Kingdom's ratification of the Charter clearly demonstrates the growing Arab interest in the Arab human rights because it came from a country which has its weight and position in the joint Arab action.
