The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and visiting Tanzanian President Jakaya Mrisho Kikwete held a meeting at the monarch's palace in Riyadh tonight. At the outset of the meeting, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques decorated the President of Tanzania with King Abdulaziz necklace, a sign of honor traditionally awarded to senior leaders of friendly countries of the world. For his part, the President expressed thanks to and appreciation of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques for granting him this honor. During the meeting, the King expressed welcome of his guest, wishing him and his accompanying delegation a good stay in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. For his part, President Jakaya Mrisho Kikwete expressed thanks to the King for the warm welcome and generous hospitality accorded to him and the accompanying delegation. Then aspects of cooperation between the Kingdom and Tanzania and ways of enhancing them in all fields were discussed in a way that serves the two parties interests. The talks also covered the overall developments at the regional and international arenas and the two countries' positions towards them. On the Saudi side, the meeting was attended by Prince Naif bin Abdulaziz, Second Deputy Premier and Interior Minister; Prince Saud Al-Faisal, Minister of Foreign Affairs; Prince Sattam bin Abdulaziz, Acting Governor of Riyadh Region; Prince Miqren bin Abdulaziz, Chief of General Intelligence; and senior protocol officials. On the Tanzanian side, it was attended by the President's official accompanying delegation.
