An employee at a pie maker in northern England died in an explosion early today that injured six others, one of them seriously, UPI reported. The blast at Andrew Jones Pies in Huddersfield gutted the brick building, the Huddersfield Daily Examiner reported. Investigators said that the explosion appeared to be caused by natural gas and there was no evidence of foul play. The building was to be sealed through the weekend, police said. The company Web site, describing Andrew Jones in North Yorkshire as a prize-winning maker of pies and pasties, said that the factory and stores would be closed until further notice.
