The Nutrition Department of King Fahd Specialist Hospital in Buraidah bagged recently the international HACCB certificate. The HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points) which was awarded by US FDA a.k.a food and Drug Administration, is a criteria for preservation of food for specific time and at suitable temperature and non-contaminated or polluted locations, said Head of Nutrition Department at KFSHB Hamad Mohammed AL Quraban. He affirmed that Al Qassim Health affairs directorate is keen on implementing HACCP applications in all hospitals in the region.
