The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Tunisia today signed an executive program for bilateral scientific and technical cooperation in the agricultural field. Dr. Fahd bin Abdulrahman Balghunaim, Saudi Minister of Agriculture, and Abdulsalam Mansour, Tunisia's Minister of Agriculture and Water Resources co-signed the agreement on behalf of their countries. In remarks during the signing ceremony, the Tunisian minister of Agriculture and Water Resources lauded the deep-rooted Saudi Tunisian relations and the joint cooperation to which the two sides look forward to upgrade. On his part, Balghunaim thanked the Tunisian side for warm reception and generous hospitality, describing today's achievement as a new chapter in the bilateral relations. Our relations are deep-rooted and firm and we underscore the importance of activating the bilateral program in the service of joint interests of the two sides, said Balghunaim.
