Presided over by its chairman Dr. Abdullah bin Mohammed Al Asheikh, the Shoura Council held today its 10th session. In a statement to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA), the Council's Secretary General Dr. Mohammed bin Abdullah Al Ghamdi said that the Council resumed discussions of the report proposed by the Committee for Security Affairs on the increased number of car accidents and deaths. The Council recommended that the report be returned to the committee for further discussions. Dr. Al Ghamdi also added that the Council reviewed a number of annual reports including the report of the General Presidency of Scientific Research and Iftaa for the fiscal year 1427/1428H, the annual report of Human Resources Development Fund for the fiscal year 1427/1428H, the annual report proposed by the Committee for Financial Affairs and the annual report of the Saudi Commission for Health Specializations for the fiscal year 1427/1428H. He also added that the Council, after closely reviewing the aforementioned reports, recommended that they be held for further discussions during its next session.
