Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud's inaugural speech at today's Shoura Council's session was hailed by the Chairman of Shoura Council, Chief judge, ministers and Shoura Council members. In interviews with the Saudi Press Agency following the opening ceremony of the first year of the fifth session of the council, they underscored the importance of the speech which dealt with vital issues including the international dialogue, international financial crisis, peace process in the region and domestic issues. For his part, Sheikh Abdullah bin Ibrahim Al Alsheikh, Chairman of the Shoura Council, said the monarch has drawn the picture of the world today and how the Kingdom could continue to be a source of good and prosperity for its people. He drew the attention to the importance of the King's instructions to expand the council's building following the increase of its members. --More
