The Arab League chief says the Iraqi government is on the right track in its efforts to promote national reconciliation. The organization's secretary-general, Amr Moussa, says the policies have led to more stability and «hope has emerged for a prosperous future.» Moussa made his comments Tuesday after meeting Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki and other senior Iraqi officials during an official visit, Associated Press reported. The 22-nation Arab League says it's Moussa's first visit to the country since October 2005.
