UNESCO Director General arrives in Riyadh

The Director General of the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) Koichiro Matsuura and the accompanying delegation arrived in Riyadh tonight on a three-day official visit to the Kingdom during which he will hold talks with Prince Sultan bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, President of the General Commission for Tourism and Antiquities, on ways of cooperation between the Kingdom and UNESCO.
At King Khalid International Airport, he was received by senior officials.
During the visit, Matsuura and the accompanying delegation are scheduled to tour a number of historic, touristy, educational and cultural facilities in the Kingdom.
