In a statement to Saudi Press Agency (SPA), he said that the reports received from the PME (Presidency of Meteorology and Environment Protection) of the low visibility noted that it will remain until 4 PM (1600 hours local time), and then it will improve gradually to about 800 meters. Three arriving flights from Egypt were diverted to King Fahd International Airport in Dammam, pointing out that the flights will be diverted either to King Fahd International Airport in Dammam or to King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah until the weather gets improved, he added.
