In view of the dust wave hitting various regions of the Kingdom, the Ministry of Health has advised residents – particularly the asthmatic patients and those suffering from chest diseases – to stay indoors and wear masks if they have to go outdoors. The ministry emphasized the readiness of its health facilities Kingdom-wide to receive all emergency cases, stating that all the emergency departments in its hospitals were working round-the-clock in areas affected by dust storm, particularly Riyadh, Qassim, Hail and the Eastern Province.In the capital, a number of incoming flights were diverted to King Fahd International Airport in Dammam Friday since visibility was reduced to 50 meters in the morning and 100 meters in the evening. Attendance at the Janadriya Festival was also affected. __
