Minister of Culture and Information Dr. Abdulaziz bin Mohieddin Khoja expressed thanks to and appreciation of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud for his support and encouragement for the development of government departments' electronic transactions and services to keep abreast of contemporary technology. In a statement to the Saudi Press Agency, these remarks were stated by the Minister Dr. Khoja after receiving the "Dynamic Organization Award 2009" which was awarded to the Ministry of Culture and Information by a Paris-based organization. This is the first time the prize was granted to a government body. Dr. Khoja was handed over the prize at his office here today by Dr Abdulaziz Al-Melhem, Assistant Undersecretary of the Ministry of Culture and Information for Planning and Studies, who is also the General Supervisor of Information Technology. For his part, Dr. Al-Melhem, who was recently handed over the award at the Palace of Conferences in Paris, thanked the Minister of Culture and Information for his efforts to introduce modern technical means which enabled the Ministry to achieve this accomplishment. The award is usually given to four educational, governmental, industrial and banking agencies across the world by a committee comprised of 40 arbitrators.
