based Al-Bilad said the Arab region is passing through intensive diplomatic moves under the leadership of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for unifying the Arab ranks and overlooking marginal differences among the Arabs. The paper noted that the last week's meeting of the foreign ministers of Saudi Arabia, Egypt and Syria with President Bashar Al-Assad was primarily aimed at considering means of narrowing the gap among the Arabs. The paper added that there are reports about the possibility of the visit of Syrian President Bashar Al-Assad to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia prior to the convening of the Doha summit. "These moves prior to the convening of Doha summit aim at the unification of the Arab stands and taking unified decisions for confronting the challenges notably the challenge of the Palestinian problem and its repercussions especially the reconstruction of Gaza and formation of a Palestinian government". The daily pointed out that the Arab leaders might consider the issue of the arrest warrant for Sudanese President Omar Al-Basheer and the importance of coordination with the African Union and the rest of the world to suspend the arrest warrant. The move of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in this respect stems from the Conscience of the genuine Arab Leadership which is keen on the unification of the Arab ranks, the daily added. --MORE
