Dammam-based "Al-Yaum", Riyadh-based "Al-Jazeera" and Jeddah-based "Al-Madinah" stressed the importance of the national festival which was inaugurated yesterday under the auspices of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and said the festival would positively contribute to deepening the relationship between the past and the present. They highlighted the fact that Janadriya National Festival has become not only a national issue but also as the issue which enjoys the interest of the world governments, thinkers and intellectuals due to the personal attention of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to the dialogue of cultures, religions and civilizations". The newspapers noted that Saudi Arabia under the leadership of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques has been shouldering the responsibility of spreading the culture of international dialogue so as to cement the pillars of peace, fraternity and security at the regional and international arenas. --more
