Palestinian ambassador to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Jamal Al-Shobaki has highlighted the message sent by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz to President Hosni Mubarak of Egypt on the Palestinian reunion. The message has come in line with the Kingdom's inalienable stand vis-à-vis the unification of the Palestinian ranks as well as for the service of the Palestinian and the Arab causes. In a statement to Saudi Press Agency (SPA), he said the attention given by the Monarch to the unification of the Palestinian ranks is not a new matter but it started since Makkah conference for reconciling the Palestinian authority and Hamas, he said. Actually the message of King Abdullah includes three dimensions, namely it is a message to the Palestinians to unify their ranks and urges them to discard differences and secondly it emphasizes the important role that could be played by Egypt as regards the Palestinian reconciliation. "Thirdly, the message is directed to the Arab nation to draw their attention to the importance of uniting ranks and to jointly work for the service of their causes notably the Palestinian cause". He noted that Egypt has been playing a significant role in this respect in absolute coordination with Saudi Arabia. --MORE
