On behalf of Prince Faisal bin Abdullah bin Mohammed Al-Saud, the Minister of Education, Prince Faisal bin Saud bin Mohammed opened here yesterday the exhibition of "Three Mosques (The Holy Mosques of Makkah and Madinah and the Blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque)" with the participation of 17 artists from 13 Muslim countries. Speaking on the occasion, Dr Saad Al-Rashid, the secretary general of heritage department at the general tourism and antiquities commission, said the Expo will provide a good opportunity to the artists of the Muslim world to express their feelings towards the Holy Places in Makkah and Madinah as well as Al-Quds. On his part, Prince Faisal bin Saud bin Mohammed highlighted the great efforts being exerted by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz and his Crown Prince Sultan bin Abdulaziz in the service of the Two Holy Mosques as well as their inalienable stand vis-à-vis Al-Aqsa Mosque. He noted that the show reflects the tolerant message of Islam. He pointed out that the Holy Mosque of Makkah, the Prophet Mosque and al-Aqsa Mosque constitute minarets for the unification of the Muslims. The function was attended by governor of Casablanca Mohammed al-Kabbah, Saudi ambassador to Morocco Dr Mohammed al-Bishr and a number of officials and intellectuals. --SP
