"The 23rd Conference for Muslims of Latin America and Caribbean States" has called for activating the initiative of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud for dialogue among followers of religions and cultures in the countries of Latin America. The conference which was held in Brazil under the title "The Dialogue among Followers of Religions" was concluded therein today. Dr. Adel Al-Sheddi, Adviser to the Secretary-General of the Muslim World League who led MWL's delegation to the Conference, stated that the participants in the Conference called for sending a cable of thanks to and appreciation of the Saudi Monarch and his Crown Prince Sultan bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Deputy Premier, Minister of Defense and Aviation and Inspector General, for their efforts in serving Muslim minorities and the dissemination of the culture of dialogue and world peace. The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia was among 13 countries participating in this conference in addition to more than 250 specialized and interested delegates.
