Africa's AfDB grants loan to help Nigerian SMEs

The African Development Bank (AfDB)
said on Thursday it granted a $100 million loan to Nigeria's
Intercontinental Bank to finance small and medium-sized
enterprises (SMEs) in the country.
"The line of credit will be used for long-term financing for
SMEs in manufacturing, services and natural resources projects
across Nigeria," the bank said in a statement quoted by Reuters.
