Sheikh Saleh bin Abdulaziz Al-ElSheikh, the Minister of Islamic Affairs, Endowments, Dawa and Guidance met at his office here today with Dr. Hamed bin Abdou Sultan, the Djiboutian Minister of Islamic Affairs and Endowments, who is on a current visit to Saudi Arabia. Minister Saleh Al-ElSheikh informed the guest about the Ministry's functions including the responsibility of printing the Holy Qur'an. He stated that King Fahd Complex for the Printing of the Holy Qur'an so far printed 240 million copies of the Holy Qur'an, and translated it to more than 48 languages, adding further three languages this year. Minister. Al-ElSheikh concluded by welcoming the Djiboutian Minister and his accompanying delegation to Saudi Arabia. The Djiboutian Minister thanked the government and people of the Kingdom for the good reception and generous hospitality. Minister Sultan expressed his countries thanks to the various support and contribution of Saudi Arabia to Djibouti and service of the Book of Allah. He stressed the need to coordinate efforts and promote ties between the Kingdom and Djibouti, particularly in spreading moderate Islam and right creed, and countering extremism in all its manifestations. After the meeting, the guests attended a luncheon banquet held by Minister Al-ElSheikh.
