Minister of Higher Education Dr. Khalid bin Mohammed Al-Ankari has announced the ministry's new plan for the accommodation of all Saudi graduates by Saudi universities. In a press statement during an inspection tour in Jazan University City, Dr. Al Ankari said that "universities in Saudi Arabia will be able to accommodate all graduates over the next 25 years". The Minister, who opened a university hospital and a number of colleges, stressed that the ministry will move forward with its plans to provide all that's needed in terms of the perfect learning environment for students. The ministry, which has just finished the construction of a number of colleges including the Medicine and Engineering Colleges, will fund a number of similar projects in Al-Jouf, Tabuk, Hail and Najran. Dr. Al Ankari emphasized that such projects reflect the King's determination to create a sophisticated learning and teaching environment in the Kingdom.
