Presided over by its Chairman Sheikh Dr. Saleh bin Abdullah bin Homaid, the Shoura Council held its 76th session here today. In a statement to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA), the Assistant Secretary General of Shoura Council Ahmed bin Abdulaziz Al-Yahya said that the Council approved a draft agreement on the transfer of persons sentenced to penalties of deprivation of liberty between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Kingdom of Spain. The Council also approved the text of paragraph (3) of Article (2) of the Regulation of Private Health Institutions as follows: "The owner of the medical complex and the one day surgery center shall appoint a Saudi doctor or professional in the work nature of the establishment, unless he or his partner is a Saudi doctor or professional in the work of the establishment. He shall be a full-time supervisor. If a Saudi doctor or professional was not available, the exception from this provision may be applied in this case as determined by the regulation." The Council also approved the cancellation of the exception mentioned in Article (2) of paragraph (8) of this regulation.
