Under the patronage of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the Forum of Social Responsibility and Partnership Between Public And Private Sectors concluded here today its three-day-deliberations. The forum, which was attended by a huge number of officials, businessmen, visiting guests and a wide range of interested speakers, discussed the need for social responsibility in and outside the Kingdom. In its final statement, the forum emphatically called for the strengthening and promotion of social responsibility in society preached and called for by the Islamic Shariah. The forum also called upon Ministry of Social Affairs, Saudi Arabian General Investment Authority (SAGIA) and a number of other public and private bodies to work for a national strategy to promote social responsibility through raising public and cultural awareness.
