Prince Dr. Mansour bin Miteb bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Minister of Municipal and Rural Affairs (MOMRA), attributed approval of 61% of municipal council's recommendations to effectiveness of the councils particularly in their first experience. In a press statement at Baha municipality today, Prince Mansour bin Miteb stated that approvals of the recommendations of municipal councils in the Kingdom ranged between 80% and 40%. He appreciated the effective role played by chairmen and members of the municipal councils to achieve the noble objectives for which the councils were created. Prince Mansour bin Miteb informed that after approval of the regulations, public opinion of the chambers of commerce and the General Commission for Tourism & Antiquities (GCTA) will be forwarded to experience houses to develop the regulations as needed to be ultimately sanctioned by the government.
