A cargo aircraft operated by a subcontractor of FedEx Corporation on Tuesday crashed upon landing at an airport in Lubbock, Texas. The two crew members who had been on board “walked away” on their own, a FedEx spokeswoman said. The ATR-42 aircraft, operated by Empire Airways, was coming from Fort Worth, Texas, with 73,000 pounds of freight on board, FedEx spokeswoman Sandra Munoz said.
