On May 7, 2008, three Colombians were killed when a 747-200 cargo plane crashed into their house near the capital city Bogota while all eight crew members on board the aircraft survived, authorities said. The accident was caused by a fire in one of the plane's jet engines. The same year, on Nov. 13, a civilian cargo aircraft crashed in western Iraq, killing all seven people on board.
