A training course on terrorism and media, organized by training faculty at Naif Arab University for Security Sciences, was inaugurated here today. Persons working in the field combating terrorism as well as persons working in the field of security media at the interior ministries in Saudi Arabia, Jordan, Sudan, Qatar, Kuwait, Lebanon and Egypt will benefit from the training course. The participants of the training course will review a number of topics including the role of the traditional and electronic media in confronting terrorism, terrorism and internet, the role of the institutions of the civil society in confronting terrorism, the role of media in fighting terror crimes and other related topics.
