A training course on terrorism and media, organized by the training faculty at Naif Arab University for Security Sciences, was inaugurated here on Saturday. Those working in the field of combating terrorism as well as staff working in the field of security media at the interior ministries in Saudi Arabia, Jordan, Sudan, Qatar, Kuwait, Lebanon and Egypt will benefit from the training course. The participants of the training course will review a number of topics including the role of traditional and electronic media in confronting terrorism, terrorism and the Internet, the role of the institutions of civil society in confronting terrorism, the role of media in fighting terror crimes and other related topics.
