In implementation of the directives of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the Campaign of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques for the Relief of the Palestinian People in Gaza is continuing its effects to help the Palestinian people in Gaza under the supervision of Prince Naif bin Abdulaziz, the Minister of Interior, the General Supervisor of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Campaign for the Relief of the Palestinian People in Gaza. A report issued by the campaign showed that the cash donations received until today reached SR 206 million in addition to donations in kind including foodstuffs, medicines, medical equipment, clothing and blankets. The report pointed out that 61 trucks loaded with relief materials arrived in Egypt coming from Riyadh. The report indicated that the campaign continues its first phase of immediate relief which amounted to more than SR 63 million. The first phase of immediate relief consists of emergency relief within the Strip amounting to SR 11,250,000; an emergency relief in cooperation with the international organizations working in Gaza Strip amounting to SR 51 million; and an emergency relief in kind amounting to SR 1,800,000. More than 850 thousand people benefited from the relief.
