The Campaign of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques for Relief of the Palestinian People in the Gaza Strip has intensified efforts to alleviate the suffering of the brutalized Palestinians. Dr. Sa'ed Al-Orabi Al-Harithy, Advisor to the Interior Minister and chief of the campaign, said Saudi relief efforts have been carried out at all levels. Relief supplies will be airlifted and sent by land routes from Riyadh to Egypt and on to Gaza on Monday, he said. The value of donations in kind received by the campaign until Saturday noon amounted to SR175.42 million. Dr. Al-Harithy added that the campaign concluded the first phase of urgent relief worth more than SR63 million. It included emergency relief operations in the sector at a cost of SR11.25 million, urgent relief in cooperation with international organizations working in the Gaza Strip valued at SR51 million, and emergency relief operations in kind worth SR1.8 million.
