the first Arab economic summit is starting its deliberation today in Kuwait. Economists and officials consider this summit as historic event of the march of joint Arab action and in particular in the Arab economic cooperation. The first session of the two-day summit is discussing the situation in Gaza, where the theme / solidarity with the Gaza Strip was added to the slogan of the summit. The Arab leaders will discuss during the First Session the situation in the Gaza Strip due to the continuous Israeli aggressions against the Palestinian people in Gaza, which claimed the lives hundreds of children and women and the elderly. One of the most important economic issues to be discussed is the conversion of the free trade zone between the Arab states to customs union between 2015 and 2020, and then to be converted to a common Arab market. The summit will discuss economic issues of trade and economic integration and the linkage system of transport among the Arab countries in the areas of land and sea transport in addition to the discussion of the issues of education, health, poverty, reduce unemployment, future challenges and requirements of food security and climate change.
