The Health Services Council in cooperation with the GCC Executive Bureau of the Council of Ministers of Health; the Saudi Society of Family and Community Medicine and the General Directorate of Health Affairs will hold in Dammam on Wednesday the Third Symposium entitled "Saudi Doctors and Their Roles in The Health System". The Director-General of the Executive Bureau of the Council of Ministers of Health of the Gulf Cooperation Council and the Chairman of the Scientific Committee, Dr Tawfiq bin Ahmed Khoja said this symposium is based on the findings of the previous two symposia under the same title and the activating of Saudi practitioners' roles in the development of the Saudi national health system and improving the outputs. He pointed out that the symposium includes many important topics on the roles of Saudi practitioners in health development researches, in enhancing health systems strategies, in reducing medical errors and their roles in the society.
