The Health Service Council in cooperation with the GCC Executive Bureau of the Council of Ministers of Health, the Saudi Society of family and Community Medicine and the General Directorate of Health Affairs will hold the third symposium entitled “Saudi doctors and their role in the health system,” in Dammam on Wednesday. The symposium, to be held under the patronage of Hamad Bin Abdullah Al-Mane', Minister of Health, is to work on findings of the previous symposia under the same title and on activating the role of Saudi doctors in the development of the national health system. The symposium includes many important topics on the role of Saudi practitioners in health development research, in enhancing health systems strategies, and in reducing medical errors and their role in the society. “These scientific seminars and meetings are designed to acquaint doctors with the latest research and studies in the medical field,” said Dr. Uthman Bin Abdul Aziz Al-Rabiah, head of the symposium's supervision higher committee.
