An agreement between the Sultanate's government and the government of the Kingdom of Netherlands for the encouragement and protection of mutual investments was signed at Al Bustan Palace Hotel on Saturday, ONA reported. The agreement was signed by Mohammed bin Nasser al Khusaibi, Secretary General of the National Economy Ministry on behalf of the Omani side while Frank Hemskerk Foreign Trade Minister in the Kingdom of the Netherlands signed for his country, within the context of the visit of Prince Willem Alexander, Prince of Orange and Crown Prince of the Kingdom of the Netherlands. The agreement aims at encouraging Omani and Dutch businessmen and investors to invest in both countries and provide the basis and frameworks that help in promoting and increasing the trade and business activities in both countries.
