Shoura Council Holds Session

Presided over by its chairman Dr. Saleh bin Abdullah bin Homaid, the Shoura Council held here today its 64th ordinary session.
In a statement to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA), the Secretary General of Shoura Council Dr. Mohammed bin Abdullah Al Ghamdi said that the council approved the two annual reports of the Department of Zakat and Income Tax for the fiscal years 1425/1426H. and 1426/1427H and recommendations to improve the work of the department.
He also said that the Council approved the annual report of the Ministry of Education for the fiscal year 1426/1427H and recommendations to enhance education and work at the ministry.
The council also listened to the annual report of King Fahd National Library (KFNL) for the fiscal year 1427/1428H and approved the following decision: "confirming article (2) of the Council's decision No. 18/14 dated 22/4/1426H regarding the development of the KFNL website and the provision of more online services in addition to encouraging researchers to make use of the website".
