Yemeni Foreign Minister Abu Bakr al-Qirbi and Japan's ambassador to Sana'a Masakazu Toshikage discussed here on Sunday the Japanese assistance for Yemeni Coastguards, Saba reported. The two officials discussed the Japanese participation in the international efforts aiming at fighting maritime piracy off the Somali coasts. The meeting dealt with a number of issues, particularly the situation in Gaza strip. It also discussed ways of enhancing bilateral ties between the two friendly countries.
