Police said that an explosion damaged an Encana natural gas facility in northeastern British Columbia, The Associated Press reported. The Royal Canadian Mounted Police said today that Encana gas line workers discovered a damaged metering shed yesterday at a well head near the community of Tomslake. Investigators pointed out that this appears to be a deliberate attack, similar to three other blasts in October at Encana operations in the same northeastern British Columbia area, about 750 miles (1,200 kilometers) northeast of Vancouver. No one was hurt in the latest incident, no gas leaked and the scene has been secured. It was not immediately clear if the pipeline has been shut off.
