Saudi Customs (SC) stopped clearance and prevented entry of certain shampooes upon recommedation of the Saudi Food and Drug Authority (SFDA). These measures were taken after SFDA has analyzed the shampoos' ingredients and detected 1, 4- Dioxane in harmful quantities. SC Assistant Director General (Acting) Mr. Saud Al-Fahd stated that the shampoos are: 1. corpore sano baby shampoo (Product of Spain) 2. Black seed shampoo and conditioner 2 in 1 for all hair types (manufactured in South Africa) 3. Double Rich for greasy hair anti dandruff shampoo, antibacterial system (Product of Korea) 4. Himalaya Herbals- Antidandruff shampoo for normal hair- Rosemary-tea tree oil (Product of in India) 5. iCare Shampoo with nutritive fruit complex, fortifying shampoo and conditioner 2 in 1. frequent use for dray and damaged hair (Product of Vietnam) 6. Mud shampoo with dead sea extract and essential oild for dry and damaged hair (Product of Jordan) 7. Sehat Sedr Shampoo -herbal shampoo for all hair types with sedr and myrtle extract and glycerine (product of Iran).
