At its 63rd regular session held here today and presided over by its Chairman Sheikh Dr. Saleh bin Abdullah bin Homaid, the Shoura Council approved the amendment of paragraph / B / article / 17 / of the Personnel Service System which allows the combination of two allowances. In a statement following the meeting, Secretary General of the Shoura Council Dr. Mohammed bin Abdullah Al-Ghamdi stated that the Council also approved a number of measures to further improve health service. Dr. Al-Ghamdi added also that the Shoura Council authorized the General Ports Authority's Board of Directors to adopt the fees of ports' services and prepare an integrated national strategy for the development and operation of the Saudi ports. The Council also approved the adoption of self-operating programs for the General Food and Drug Administration to enable it to attract the necessary skilled labor force.
