PRESIDED OVER BY ITS CHAIRMAN SHEIKH DR. SALIH BIN ABDULLAH BIN HOMAID, THE SHOURA COUNCIL HELD ITS 27TH ORDINARY SESSION HERE TODAY. IN A STATEMENT TO THE SAUDI PRESS AGENCY (SPA) FOLLOWING THE MEETING, THE ASSISTANT SECRETARY GENERAL OF THE SHOURA COUNCIL AHMED BIN ABDULAZIZ AL-YAHYA SAID THAT THE SHOURA COUNCIL APPROVED THE AMENDMENT SUBMITTED BY SECURITY AFFAIRS COMMITTEE ON ARTICLE (6) OF ENLISTED MEN SERVICE LAW IN ORDER TO REDUCE THE PHENOMENON OF MANY MILITARY PERSONNEL TRYING TO RETIRE BY VIRTUE OF MEDICAL REPORTS AFTER A SHORT PERIOD OF BEING EMPLOYED; AND THE SHOURA COUNCIL SET THE RULES FOR ISSUING REPORTS FOR THEM. THE COUNCIL APPROVED THE 58-ARTICLE DRAFT SYSTEM OF ETHICS RESEARCH ON LIVING CREATURES. ALSO, THE COUNCIL COMPLETED DISCUSSING THE DRAFT SYSTEM OF CHAMBERS OF COMMERCE AND INDUSTRY AND WILL VOTE ON THE DRAFT'S ARTICLES AT A LATER MEETING. A DRAFT SYSTEM OF PRIVET ASSOCIATIONS AND INSTITUTIONS WAS ALSO DISCUSSED DURING THE SESSION.
