Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz chaired the Cabinet's session held here today. At the outset of the session, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques briefed the Cabinet on the contacts, consultations and meetings he held with a number of leaders of the countries of the region and the world on the current crisis in the Gaza Strip; the flagrant Israeli attacks against the Palestinian people; the Arab, Islamic and international stands toward the crisis and the Saudi extensive efforts to stop the Israeli attacks, protect the Palestinian people and achieve the objective circumstances for the unity of the Palestinian decision. According to a statement by Minister of Culture and Information Iyad bin Amin Madani to the Saudi Press Agency, the Cabinet stressed in this context that Israel's ruthless war against the Gaza Strip; its policy of collective punishment, and its attack on the unarmed people, houses, mosques, farms and all constituents of the economy and requirements of life violate all human principles; international legitimacy; laws of war and the most basic principles and international agreements in the face of a besieged and unarmed people that possesses nothing but their belief in God and then their firm will. --More
