Officials say two people are dead after a plane crashed at an airport in suburban Chicago, according to AP. Federal Aviation Administration spokeswoman Elizabeth Isham Cory says there were two fatalities and «an aircraft that burned» in the crash at Joliet Regional Airport late Thursday. Joliet Park District executive director Dominic Egizio says the crash occurred at about 9 p.m. The district operates the airport. Egizio says the skies were clear at the time of the crash. He says the plane was likely a two to four-seater. Cory says her agency would participate in an investigation led by the National Transportation Safety Board. She says investigations typically take weeks.
