In implementation of the directives of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz, Prince Faisal bin Abdullah bin Abdulaziz, Chief of the Saudi Red Crescent Commission, said that "A fleet of medical relief aircrafts are dispatched on a daily basis to secure all necessary medicines for the Palestinian people in coordination with all hospitals in the Kingdom." In a statement to Saudi Press Agency (SPA), Prince Faisal added that "A relief aircraft loaded with 16 tons of critical medical supplies took off today from Riyadh Airbase Airport heading to Egypt to help with the relief work there". Saudi Arabia started its first batch of aid on Tuesday, sending two aircrafts carrying 20 tons of medical supplies and medicines in addition to the previous two medical evacuation aircrafts sent on Monday.
