Arish, Egypt, December 31, SPA -- Through Rafah outlet, Palestinian Red Crescent staff received today the Saudi aid comprising the medicines and medical supplies ordered by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud. A Saudi relief aircraft arrived this afternoon carrying 16 tons of medical supplies and medicines as part of the airlift. The aircraft was received by representatives of the Saudi Red Crescent Society and the Ministry of Finance. The Saudi Ministry of Health conducts intensive contact operations with the Egyptian Ministry of Health to liaise with the relevant authorities to expedite the dispatch of the injured and wounded Palestinians to Saudi Arabia to receive required urgent medical and ambulatory services. Chief of the Palestinian Red Crescent Society Omar Helal Ibrahim lauded the efforts of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques in his persistent standing by justice and his support for the Palestinian cause.
