At the conclusion of the 20th Plenary Session of meetings of GCC Arab Educational Bureau held in the Qatari capital, Doha, the ministers of education of the GCC adopted resolutions authorizing the executive Board to approve the marketing mechanism for surplus Bureau program products and use their revenues to boost income. The Session examined a report on implementation of Bureau programs for the current session 2007-2008 including educational development project in Member States drafted in line with the resolutions of the Supreme Council. The Session discussed the proposed balance sheet for the Bureau and its affiliated bodies for the coming fiscal year 2009-2010. The Session called on members of the Executive Board of GCC Arab Educational Bureau to follow implementation of programs of the Bureau and its affiliated bodies The Session approved the programs proposed for the Bureau and its affiliated bodies in the coming financial cycle 2009-2010. The Session urged Member States to support and promote cooperation with the Regional Center for Educational Planning in Sharjah to perform its assigned duties. The Fifth Consultative Session of GCC Education Ministers is to be held in Saudi Arabia on 3 November 2009, the session said. The Twenty First Session is to be held in Abu Dhabi Tuesday and Wednesday 30 November and 1 December 2010, the session stated. Member States of GCC Arab Educational Bureau are UAE, Bahrain, Yemen, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Oman, and Qatar.
