Governor of Makkah speaks on tourism

Prince Khalid Alfaisal bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Makkah Region, hailed support by Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz and Crown Prince Sultan bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Premier, Minister of Defense and Aviation and Inspector General, for the tourism sector in the kingdom.
The remarks by Prince Khalid came during his presentation of his experience in establishing the concept of tourism in the region of Asir during the annual meeting of the officials of the General Authority of Tourism and Antiquities yesterday.
The presentation was attended by Prince Sultan bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, President of the General Authority of Tourism and Antiquities, and other officials.
Prince Khalid said that tourism was the key to development in the region of Asir and spoke on efforts to boost tourism there.
