The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has reiterated that it looked forward to receiving due care, attention and follow up of the political issues that are of concern to the (Middle East) region, especially the Palestinian Cause, which can not be resolved without a just and comprehensive solution that could ensure peace, security and stability desired by all. The Kingdom also stressed the importance of clear and precise rules for the dialogue between cultures and societies in the countries involved, through cooperation between cultural, educational and different information institutions, which are devoted to values and ethical principles that form common denominators among the peoples and societies in order to promote stability and prosperity for them. These stances of Saudi Arabia were elaborated in a speech delivered last night in Vienna, on behalf of the Kingdom by its Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Dr. Nizar bin Obaid Madani at "Europe and the Arab World – Connecting Partners in Dialogue" Conference. In his speech, Dr.Nizar Madani said "It is my pleasure to address your conference, which is a joint initiative of the Republic of Austria and the League of Arab States." He expressed his thanks and appreciation to all those who contributed in organizing this meeting and providing the opportunity to enhance understanding, and discussing frameworks of cooperation between the European Union and the Arab world. --MORE
